Giving Opportunities

By joining with Cardinal Gibbons, donors fund outstanding academic, spiritual, fine arts, and athletic programs, provide financial aid, enrichment for educators, along with building and grounds improvements on behalf of over 1,500 students each year.

The Cardinal Gibbons Fund

Each fall, outstanding volunteers lead the Cardinal Gibbons Fund campaign which is the most important and largest fundraising effort on campus. 100% participation is encouraged. Just as in other private schools, participation is important for tuition doesn’t cover the school’s annual operating costs. Success of the Cardinal Gibbons Fund has a direct impact on our ability to continue to raise the quality of programs and education at Cardinal Gibbons.

Planned Giving

An example of a planned gift is naming Cardinal Gibbons High School as a beneficiary in one’s will. Other planned gifts include charitable remainder trusts, life insurance policies, or transfers of residence or personal property allowing the donor to retain a life estate.

Restricted Gifts

Susan Scott Daly '76 and Bob Daly

"As an alumna, I contribute as a thank you for the priceless experience I had at Gibbons and the lifetime influence it had on me. As parents, we contribute because we want to give our children the best Catholic education that we can. Supporting the Cardinal Gibbons Fund provides Gibbons the funds to do its best job of providing that great Catholic educational experience."

Mark and Mary Ann Enzweiler

"We donate to the Cardinal Gibbons Fund because we want to ensure that CGHS flourishes for many years to come. Cardinal Gibbons is a school that lives its mission everyday. We have seen this in our own children and their friends by observing the young adults they have become. What better testament to a school than the successful alumni it has helped to form."
