Educator Spotlight |  Nick Drew (Physical Education Educator)

1.) What do you love most about the subject area you teach?

What I love most about teaching strength and conditioning and women's fitness is educating the students on overall health and wellness. These are key to achieving long-term vitality and longevity. Caring for the body and mind helps create a sustainable lifestyle, promoting lasting well-being and a higher quality of life.

2.) How long have you been in the teaching profession?

This is my 8th year teaching.

3.) If you were not a teacher, what profession would you have chosen?

If I were not a teacher, I would be an Anesthesiologist or a member of the SWAT Team.

4.) What makes Gibbons a unique/different place?

What makes Gibbons unique is the number of possibilities the students are given as soon as they walk through the door on Freshman Welcome Day. There's something for everybody to engage in, no matter what you're into. Adults included.

5.) What is your favorite Gibbons tradition?

My favorite Gibbons tradition is the Italy trip over Easter Break.
