Science Olympiad team excels at Durham Regional

Our Science Olympiad team competed at the Durham Regional Tournament last month at Riverside High School, finishing 6th overall and earning medals across 14 events.

Top finishers included Henleigh Severson '26 and Connor Licht '27, who medaled in both Astronomy (3rd) and Chemistry Lab (2nd), and Gabby Olsen '28, who earned medals in Boomilever (3rd), Electric Vehicle (2nd), and Rocks and Minerals (6th).

Sarah Iacovelli '26 took 2nd in Machines and 3rd in Boomilever alongside Olsen, while Kira White '27 medaled in Electric Vehicle (2nd), Disease Detectives (4th), and Forensics (3rd).
