Speakers share stories during annual Vocations Week

The Spiritual Life Team hosted the 2nd annual Vocations Panel in celebration of National Vocations Awareness Week. A dozen ordained, consecrated, and committed Catholics visited our campus Friday, Nov. 3 and Monday, Nov. 7.

During Theology class, students heard from the speakers and had a chance to visit with them.

“One of our goals at Gibbons is to help all of our students better understand how God is actively working in their lives,” said Gary Meyerl, assistant head of school for spiritual life. “Increasing their vocational awareness – how they can use their gifts and talents in service of both Church and community – begins by introducing them to men and women who have answered the call and are living out their vocation on a daily basis.”
