Tech donations support digital equity

Gibbons students recently participated in a drive designed to bridge the digital divide in our community and beyond.
During the event organized by the NC TECH Association and Kramden Institute, they dropped off retired laptops, projectors, and networking equipment such as switches and routers.
Kramden Institute will refurbish or recycle the devices, providing technology access to individuals and families in need, including many in western North Carolina facing connectivity issues in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
The Digital Drive not only cleared out unused electronics but also raised students' awareness about technology access issues. The school’s Technology team is committed to recycling and refurbishing as much equipment as possible.
