On Friday, March 13, 2020, Principal Nancy A. Barkan emailed Gibbons families and educators announcing Cardinal Gibbons will close to students and begin distance learning on Tuesday, March 17.

    As the COVID-19 response in our nation continues to unfold, we will continue to evaluate large school gatherings and events, and will determine whether to postpone or cancel these events on a case-by-case basis, given the parameters on public gatherings in place at that time. Please see the list below as events unfold.

    Planning - Updated

    Now that the decision to close the school building to students has been made, learning will continue online. The distance learning expectations for educators, parents and students were first added on Sunday, March 15, and the comprehensive plan PDF was updated, as well. Please check back here frequently for the most up-to-date information.

    Preparedness
