Re-enrollment for 2021-2022
Cardinal Gibbons requires each parent to confirm re-enrollment for the next school year. If you have not completed this process (the deadline was February 12), please do so now to confirm your child is returning to Gibbons next school year. Course Registration for 2021-2022: Though registration ended on February 12, if you or your child have questions about his or her course selections, please contact your child’s counselor. Check your child’s course selections by clicking on the Class Registration link on PowerSchool.

Important Deadline: Late AP test registration closes on March 1, 2021, for students wishing to take the AP exam. See your AP teacher with any questions about the exam.
College Counselors are wrapping up Junior Meetings in the next three weeks. If you have NOT scheduled a Junior meeting to talk about plans after high school, contact your counselor.
Class of 2024 Parents
Join Director of Leadership Formation Gabi Burn, and your Class Parent Reps for a four-part Zoom series on the Seven Habits of Highly Effective Families, starting Sunday, February 28, 2021, at 7 p.m. Engage with other freshman parents as we explore topics relevant to parenting high school students. Stations of the Cross
Beginning tomorrow, February 25, and continuing throughout Lent members of the Gibbons community are invited to pray the Stations of the Cross in the Memorial Garden after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Join members of our Theology department who, along with students, will be leading us on this prayerful Lenten pilgrimage.
Parent Faith Formation
Join our virtual, four-part, parent faith formation series, Seeking God In Stillness, hosted by Theology educator Peggy Monti, on Wednesdays from 7-8 p.m. starting March 3, 2021. Register at www.cghsnc.org/parentfaith
We are offering leadership retreats for freshmen and sophomores who want to learn ways to develop as Gibbons leaders, and peer leader retreats for juniors and seniors who want to serve as peer leaders on grade-level retreats next school year. Register at www.cghsnc.org/aboutus/leadership.
Tips for Class of 2021
· Check all student portals for institutions of higher education to which you applied for any new messages.
· Submit all documents for deferment or waitlist decisions.
· Submit additional financial aid documentation requested.
· Review steps a school needs for you to enroll.

Gibbons' Science Olympiad Team is participating virtually in the NC Science Olympiad 2021 Raleigh Tournament. The team’s performance at the tournament determines how it advances to the state tournament later this year.
