Admissions Process

Cardinal Gibbons seeks students who embody our core values and mission. We evaluate applicants with an emphasis on the best fit for the school and the family, taking into consideration the student’s academic record, letters of recommendation, standardized test scores, extracurricular interests, student essays, and personal interactions.

9th-Grade Students

Students interested in joining the Class of 2026 must complete the online application, a Student Visit and the High School Placement Test (HSPT).

Transfer Students

We welcome applications from qualified rising 10th and 11th-grade students in the spring and summer of each year. Students are accepted on a rolling admissions basis after March 5
