The Wells Fargo Cup recognizes overall excellence in high school athletics. Points are awarded to schools based on each sport’s placing at the state level. Cardinal Gibbons has won the Wells Fargo Cup (formerly Wachovia Cup) on 16 occasions:

The Cardinal Gibbons High School Athletics Hall Of Fame preserves and celebrates the School’s mission through interscholastic sports. Formed in our Roman Catholic faith, the Hall (established in 2012) recognizes exemplary legacies of service and leadership in pursuit and achievement of excellence in education-based athletics.

Meet the inductees

The Fr. Thomas Price "Spirit of Sport" Award is an annual award to honor a male or female student-athlete by reason of scholastic achievement, competitive spirit, sportsmanship, cooperation, and unselfish devotion to the athletic program, who has brought honor and distinction to himself/herself, his/her coaches and his/her school. This individual best represents the ideals of interscholastic athletics, and models our mission of developing young men and women of Faith, Service & Leadership, in church and community. This award is selected by the Cardinal Gibbons administration.

The Vincent H. Bode Volunteer Service Award is an annual award to honor a parent or community volunteer (volunteers) by reason of exemplary service to our school and our athletic program. This award is selected by the Cardinal Gibbons administration.
