Faith

Breaking bread together

Our faith is the foundation of everything we do at Cardinal Gibbons High School. The greatest responsibility we hold is to help our students grow in their relationship with God and recognize God’s presence in everyone they encounter and serve.

We live our mission to form men and women of faith, service, and leadership in church and community.

Meet Father Luke

Appointed chaplain by Bishop Luis Zarama, Father Luke, LC, became the full-time chaplain at Gibbons in 2022. He aims to enhance the faith of all who encounter him by Word, experience, and Sacrament.

Our Sacred Spaces

Our campus offers many places for students, educators, and families to foster their spiritual development. Among these are Christie’s Garden, Mary’s Grotto, Queen of All Saints Chapel, Stations of the Cross, and our Short Journey Retreat Center.

Faith drives everything I do including how I treat, serve, and interact with others. It is the anchor of everyday life especially in these hard times, so it is gratifying that Cardinal Gibbons provides numerous opportunities to grow and strengthen my spiritual life through faith and ministry.”Macie pennisi '23
