AUDITION INFORMATION
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Puffs is the story of Wayne Hopkins: a regular boy who finds out he’s a wizard and goes to school in England where he makes two best friends and has adventures. This perhaps sounds familiar. But, Wayne is sorted as a Puff, he and the other Puffs simply want to learn how to be wizards and avoid attacks by evil wizards.
ABOUT THE AUDITIONS:
Puffs is a true ensemble show, meaning actors are very rarely off stage for an extended period of time and each character plays a myriad of roles often back to back to back- each being extremely unique and entirely ridiculous.
For your audition, please prepare two of these short monologues. You do not need to fully memorize them, but please familiarize yourself with the text enough to make active character choices.

Callbacks: Tuesday, September 19 & Wednesday, September 20 from 3:15-5:30 pm in the Mainstage Theater. Callback lists and information will be posted here; we will announce callback lists and cast list postings through the Gibbons Drama Twitter account.
Rehearsals: Rehearsals will begin the week of November 13 and will generally be held weekdays after school from 3:20-5:30 or 6:00 pm.
Production Week Rehearsal Schedule:
- Tech Saturday: January 27 : 10:00 am -- 6:00 pm
- Tech Week: Monday, January 29 – February 1: 3:15 pm-8:00 pm
Performances Dates:
- February 2, 3, 8, 9, 10 at 7:00 PM
- February 10 at 2:30 PM
Call time for actors is 1.5 hour prior to curtain.
