Dance

We are a pre-college, professional program that emphasizes technique, choreography, and performance.

Dance students will perform and evaluate many dance forms, including jazz, contemporary, musical theater, modern, ballet, hip-hop, and improvisation.

This elective class offers Dance I-V as well as a dance company that travels and performs. Each class performs in four mandatory dance performances each year in the fall and spring.

Guest teachers and choreographers instruct dance classes in the spring of each year.

• Students will also learn self discipline, leadership skills, teamwork, how to create choreography, and develop more self confidence.

• Students have the opportunity to perform for the community inside and outside the dance stage.
