Description

This course builds on Women’s Fitness 9/10 and fundamental skills required for balanced development in physical fitness. This course supports learning about the anatomical and physiological benefits an active lifestyle promotes. Its purpose is to develop the components of fitness in the areas of macros, nutrition, cardio, strength, human movement, resistance training, mobility, and recovery. Students may take this course in consecutive years. Students may take this course in consecutive years; Honors Option is only available to students in Year 2 of any PE. Honors is required in Year 3 of Year 4 of any PE.
