In recognition of National Catholic Schools Week, we continue our series spotlighting why Gibbons educators chose to work here. Today, we spotlight Gibbons Alumnus and Business Educator Brent Nolan '05.
Editor's Note – Though Cardinal Gibbons has moved its celebration of Catholic Schools Week to March; the national commemoration began on January 31 and continues through February 6. We will recognize the national effort with a special series that spotlights the amazing educators at Gibbons and why they chose to work here. The answers they share underscore the theme of this year’s national celebration: “Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service.” Each day this week we will share an educator’s answers with you.
Today, February 5, we continue the series, The Gibbons Connection, with Gibbons Alumnus and Business Educator Brent Nolan '05. He is pictured above.
Q: Why did you choose to work at Catholic School in general and Gibbons in particular?
A: I chose to work at a Catholic School because it was such a formational experience for me when I was a student. I love that our faith is something we can talk about on a daily basis. What's more important to talk about than that?
Q: What do you love most about working at Gibbons?
A: What I LOVE most about working at Gibbons is the community. I love the shared interest we have in developing our students into the best people they can be.
Be sure to check back with us in March!
