National Merit Semifinalist 

Cardinal Gibbons is proud to announce that Mollie Jordan '21 has been recognized as a 2021 National Merit Semifinalist. We congratulate Mollie, who is very active in FYI and currently serves on the club’s Leadership Council.

She has also been involved in the school’s dance team, serving as its captain last year. And she is a member of the Gibbons’ National Honor Society and of the Spanish National Honor Society, Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica. 

About being named a National Merit Semifinalist Mollie said: “I am extremely honored to be selected as a National Merit Scholar. I am grateful to my family, friends, and all of my educators at Cardinal Gibbons for encouraging and mentoring me throughout my academic career. I could not have done this without their support, and I am proud to represent Cardinal Gibbons as a National Merit Scholar.”

Nationally, more than 1.5 million juniors in over 20,000 high schools entered the qualifying test. In turn, approximately 16,000 students were named semifinalists. in the 65th annual National Merit Scholarship Program.
