It's not parking. It's tailgating. Grab a spot and invite your friends.

We're looking to provide a great atmosphere for you to tailgate whether you're a student, educator, parent, friend or fan of Gibbons. Bring your chairs, tents, cooking skills, and friendly spirit. This is a place for you to spread out, hang out, and shout out for Gibbons

Tailgating details

Spaces in the tailgating (athletics) lot are reserved for tailgating with a Gibbons group or as individuals.
The tailgating lot may NOT be used to simply reserve a parking spot. Game Day parking is available in the main lot.
Spaces will be assigned based on availability.
Confirmation of a space will be sent via email in the form of a Tailgating Pass displaying the tailgater's name and assigned space number.

Game Day Details

Tailgating lot gates open at 4 p.m.
Tailgating lot gates close at 6 p.m.
Tents, chairs, coolers, grills, and general tailgate equipment are allowed.
Gibbons is an alcohol and tobacco-free campus.
Emergency vehicles must have access to the stadium. Only park in marked spaces.
Drop off: Vehicles without a Tailgating pass may only take place in the designated drop off zone. The goal is to limit the traffic in the tailgating lot so that all tailgaters and guests can have a safe, pedestrian-friendly area conducive to tailgating.
There are handicapped spaces available in the tailgating lot on a first-come, first-served basis. A valid handicapped placard is required. The lot will remain open for handicap parking beyond 6 p.m.

Tailgating passes

Tailgating spots are assigned on a per-game basis. Please only request one spot to ensure we can accommodate as many fans as possible. One reserved, numbered space will be assigned per tailgater.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate specific requests. All tailgating spots are randomly assigned based on a lottery system.

Due to space limitations during Family Football Night, the lottery for tailgating spots will not open for the Setp. 22 game. Please plan to join a middle school tailgate and welcome them to Gibbons!
