Japan Trip

Overview

Gibbons in Japan will provide a worldview-shifting student experience that furthers the mission of Cardinal Gibbons while also allowing students and educators to grow as compassionate, conscientious members of a global Catholic community.

By examining our core values through a different cultural lens, Gibbons in Japan aims to push students out of their comfort zones, expose them to a vibrant and rich culture, and foster personal and spiritual growth. All while underscoring that faith, service, and leadership are global values.

In addition to directly aligning with our school mission, this 9-day trip will also provide invaluable academically minded experiences for students that promote our Academic Philosophy.

The trip will include visiting sites impacted by World War II, worshiping with a Catholic parish, and engaging in acts of service, promoting the virtues of compassion, empathy, and gratitude.
