NC State's Reynolds Coliseum

Graduation Details

The graduation ceremony lasts approximately two hours. Directly following the ceremony, the graduates recess outside for the cap toss, and there will be light refreshments and cake available in the lobby area.

Tickets: Admission to the graduation ceremony is by ticket only. Each graduate will receive six tickets in an envelope during graduation rehearsal on Friday, May 24. These are the only tickets that graduates receive, and they cannot be replaced. These tickets are issued by N.C. State with barcodes and will be scanned by N.C. State ushers upon entrance to the arena. Please take great care of your tickets.

Arrival: Doors will open for ticketed guests at 9 a.m. Graduates should arrive at Reynolds Coliseum no later than 9:15 a.m. and report to their designated spot in the lineup. All bags will be checked at the doors. Helium balloons and wrapped packages are not permitted inside Reynolds Coliseum.

Seating: All seating for the ceremony will be general admission, and all seats have backs on them. Out of consideration to all of our families, we ask that guests not hold seats for late-arriving guests.

Reserved Handicapped Seating: There is limited handicapped seating available. Due to this limited capacity, we can only accommodate the person who is handicapped and one additional person from your group to sit with them. Please note that this seating will be separate from the rest of your group and will still use tickets from your total allotment of six. To reserve handicapped seating for graduation, please contact Mr. Mike Curatolo by May 20, 2024.

Parking: Parking is available in the Jeter Bay lot next to Reynolds Coliseum, on the surrounding streets, and in the Coliseum Parking Deck. There is no fee to park on campus on Saturday. Unfortunately, we cannot reserve handicapped parking, but there are a limited number of spots designated for individuals with an official handicapped parking permit.
