Ages: Rising 9th – 12th Grade (7th or 8th Graders with 4+ years of experience and ability to read advanced percussion music may attend)
Advanced Percussion Ensemble camp allows students with a minimum three years of percussion experience to deepen their knowledge of all percussion instruments. Students will also learn advanced high school and college percussion ensemble pieces and receive four-mallet instruction. This camp allows for advanced technique development, enhanced music reading skills, and how to prepare for high school and college percussion auditions. Students will share what they have learned at the end of our camp in a performance for family and friends.
Equipment: Students will not need to provide any equipment. They may, however, bring their own sticks and mallets.
