What to Expect

Camp Crusader is a 6 day/5 night summer camp adventure for students in grades 4-8.

Campers will have the opportunity to meet new people, swim each day, experience a low ropes course, participate in arts and crafts, and play field sports among other activities while deepening their faith and experiencing the fun of summer camp. 

Meals and snacks will be provided each day. Special dietary needs will be accomodated.

Timeline 

We’ll kick off our week together with drop-off and registration from 3:00-3:30 p.m. Sunday at Cardinal Gibbons High School.  The week will wrap up Friday morning with parents picking their campers up at Short Journey Retreat Center in Smithfield.

Camp leaders & counselors

Camp Crusader will be overseen by Ms. Sarah Kuszaj ‘95, Ms. Meredith McElroy '18 and Mr. Tim Yelenic. They will put together a staff of Gibbons juniors and seniors as well as alumni to help bring Camp Crusader to life.
