Tuition: $425

This week long camp focuses on ensemble playing, instrumental technique, instrument maintenance, learning new repertoire and performance practice.  Included is multiple coaching sessions, private tutoring and instrument sectionals.  Students should expect to play a performance at the end of the week to highlight their progress at the camp. 

Equipment: Students will need to provide their own instruments. If they have not had experience, then Mr. Hawks can be contacted for details about how to get an instrument.

Instructor:

Andrew Hawks, a successful musician, artist, and educator, has spent the last two decades performing for audiences across two continents and five countries.  He holds a Master’s Degree in Double Bass Performance from Michigan State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Double Bass Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
