Times: 9:00-4:00

Ages: Rising 8th – 12th Grade; Minimum 3 year playing experience or Director Recommendation

Wind Ensemble Camp allows for students with a minimum of three years of band experience to expand their individual and ensemble skills. This camp is open to students who play flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, bass clarinet, alto/tenor/bari sax, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone/euphonium, tuba, and percussion. Each instrument will be grouped with a sectional coach, who will provide them with instrument-specific knowledge to improve their musicianship. Students will perform at least one sectional piece and three full-band pieces in a performance on the final afternoon of the camp.

Equipment: For woodwind and brass players, students will need to provide their own instruments. If they do not have their own instrument, then Mr. Cashin can be contacted for details about acquiring an instrument for the week. For percussionists, students may provide their own sticks and mallets but are not required to do so.
