Are you passionate about Gibbons' past, present, and future? Do you enjoy engaging with Gibbons and encouraging fellow alums to join you? Are you willing to share your time and energy to help grow the Young Alumni Leadership Association?

We are seeking a few dedicated alums who graduated from the Edwards Mill Road campus to help advise and grow young alumni engagement with Gibbons.

I AM INTERESTED IN Joining THE ADVISORY TEAM

What’s Involved

  • Participate in about seven meetings a year (a mix of in-person and Zoom).

  • Provide insight and direction to ensure alumni events align with Gibbons’ mission and the ideas of young alums.

  • Help plan and promote key YAL events, including:

    • Alumni Donor Social (Aug/Sept)
    • Regional Gatherings (Charlotte, Greensboro/Winston-Salem, Wilmington, DC, NY, Atlanta, Chicago)
    • Alumni Career Expo (Nov)
    • Campus Crawl (Feb)
    • Alumni Day of Giving (March)
    • College Pop-Ups & Career Mentorship (March)
    • Raise the Bar Bash (June)

  • Encourage alumni to stay connected and support Gibbons in meaningful ways.
